El 20 de Setiembre comenzó Oktoberfest una de las fiestas tradicionales mas grandes del mundo. Previo desfile de las carrozas típicas de las casas de cervezas dirigiendose hacia el predio en Theresienwiese se efectúa la apertura del primer barril de cerveza al mismo tiempo gritan "O'zapft is!" traducido "el barril está abierto!". En Villa Gral. Belgrano, Córdoba (Argentina) este acto se lo denomina Espiche.
Un buen punto para observar el pase de las carrozas es en Karlsplatz (Stachus) pero hay que ir temprano y arrimarse a la calle para conseguir un buen lugar porque mucha gente va a prescenciar este acto.
Chango Spasiuk es uno de los acordeonistas más representativos de nuestra música folklore "el chamamé". Spasiuk, nacido en Misiones (Argentina), hijo de inmigrantes ucranianos se destacó desde los 12 años tocando el acordeón en reuniones familiares y fiestas. Tras varias presentaciones aisladas se presenta finalmente en el "Festival de Cosquin" en 1989, donde empieza su larga trayectoria profesional haciendo Tours no sólo en el país sino también en Europa y Norteamérica. Este video se llama "Mi Pueblo, Mi Casa, La Soledad"

Israel Kamakawiwo'ole fue un músico nacido en Hawai el cual cantó (a mi parecer) una de las mejores interpretaciones de las canción "Over the Rainbow". Lamentablemente falleció a los 38 años de edad. Este video es un homenaje a él y a su carrera como músico. La última parte del video es una ceremonia funeral hawaiana donde hechan sus cenizas al mare, realmente emotiva celebración de despedida.
Israel Kamakawiwo'ole was a musician born in Hawai which singed one of the best interpretations (in my opinion) of the song "Over the Rainbow". He died at the age of 38. The video is a tribute to him and his career as musician. Specially touching is the last part of the video where his ashes are thrown to the sea as a part of the hawaian funeral ceremony, very nice and peaceful celebration.
