La última vez que estuve en Buenos Aires fuí a "La Casona de Humauaca" y tuve la oporunidad de presenciar en vivo un grupo de treinta quenas bolivianas tocando al unísono. Hoy, surfeando en internet dí con el grupo boliviano de música andina "Awatiñas" y la melodía de esta canción "Urphila" es similar a la que escuché en vivo. El idioma en que hablan y cantan proviene de la lengua aborígen aymara pero también tienen títulos en español. Traté de buscar el texto de la canción pero existe muy poca información en la red acerca de este grupo y sus canciones a pesar de que fue fundado en 1970. Si alguien tiene alguna información o puede traducir esta canción se lo agradeceré. Bueno, espero que a los internautas que visiten esta página también les guste!
Last time I was in Buenos Aires I went to "La Casona de Humauaca" and had the oportunity to hear a Bolivian group of thirty playing Quenas. Today surfing on the internet I have found a Bolivian band "Awatiñas" that play the same Andean music. This melody "Urphila" is very similar to that one I have heard live. The language in which they speak and sing comes from the native language Aymara but they also sing in Spanish. I tried to look for the text of this song but there is not so much information in the network although this group was founded on 1970.
