Into the Groove

He escuchado mucho Bob Marley hace ya un par de años atrás y realmente me sigue gustando mucho. A lo largo del tiempo se dió a conocer su hijo Ziggy el cual en sus primeros videos no me había llamado mucho la atención. Hoy, por casualidad, he visto un video actual y realmente tiene algo de Bob, no me atrevo a decir que canta igual que él, su música es diferente. Por ejemplo en el tema "Into the Groove" se deja escuchar diferentes ritmos mas movidos que los que tocaba su padre. Físicamente él es realmente muy parecido, se mueve como su padre y en algunos tonos cuando canta se escucha un poco de Bob. En definitiva "Into the Groove" me gustó tanto que incluí en este post el video y texto de la canción. Si te gusta andá al Link de él en YouTube tiene mas videos.

Gracias Mercedes "Negra" Sosa

A la madrugada de hoy, Domingo 4 de Octubre, nos abandona físicamente la cantante Mercedes Sosa. Cariñosamente por los argentinos apodada la "Negra Sosa" fué y será una referencia para la música latinoamericana por mucho tiempo.
Ya hace tiempo he posteado en este mismo Blog haciendo referencia a Mercedes Sosa cantando "Gracias a la Vida" incluyendo traducciones de la canción en inglés y alemán (hacer click en los labels).

Este es un post de agradecimiento por su entrega, lucha, pasión y ternura. Perseguida en la época de la dictadura a fines de los setenta tuvo que exiliarse en Europa donde supo difundir la música y poesía latinoamericana así como también ganar su reputación como cantante a nivel internacional dejando así su paso por España, Francia y Alemania donde dió mas de un concierto siendo el último hace unos pocos años.


Al termino de la dictadura retorna a su tierra querida donde sigue haciendo música e interpreta duetos con cantantes de rock argentino como Charly García, León Gieco y otros ganando su espacio y cariño. Por sobre todo se destaca su trascendencia o continuidad siendo aceptada por las generaciones más jóvenes.

A pesar de su fallecimiento su voz sigue sonando muy fuerte en la conciencia y corazón de toda latinoamerica y creo que lo hará por mucho tiempo.
